Pavilion Attractions

The Rendezvous Plaza includes a boutique and the eatery of the Chile Pavilion. This area of the pavilion was created to exhibit and sell emblematic products and souvenirs of Chile.

The Trunk of the Sounds of Chile is a sculpture made out of a cypress tree trunk by Osvaldo Peña. Upon drawing near the work of art, visitors can hear and listen to characteristic Chilean sounds coming from 6 speakers strategically placed in the interior of the trunk.

The Well of the Antipodes is the simulation of a giant well that connects Chile and China, in whose depths are found images of Chile and her people in real time.

The Wall of Chile is a multi-touch screen installation measuring 4.3 meters wide that allows the spectator-user to interact with images and videos incorporated into a geographical map of Chile.

The Pavilion is attended by a select group of hosts who have skills in English and Chinese. They were specially trained for the job, and to carry out their roles they have become very familiar with our country´s history as well as the attractions offered by the Chile Pavilion.
